About
the blog
GOD’S WORD IS FULL OF HOPE. A HOPEFULL WORD IS A PLACE TO REMEMBER THIS TRUTH WEEK TO WEEK.
Why hope? Because you were made for more than survival, and hope is the bridge between where you are now and the woman you were made to be.
Whether you’re a single mom, working wife, divorcee, caretaker, or widow, whether you struggle mentally, physically, emotionally, or financially, you were made to do more than survive this life — you were made to thrive, to flourish, to bloom. But to get here, you need to believe it, and to believe it, you (and I) need hope.
Hope for each day. Hope for each season. Hope on each page. This is the message of A Hopefull Word. I invite you to come here as often as you like, and I hope to always greet you with a kind and encouraging word that offers a ray of light — a dose of hope — to break through the self-criticism, uncertainty, and weariness that so often clouds our days. About
Hi! I’m Rachel — a God-loving, hope-believing mom, writer, and editor transplanted from Augusta, Georgia, to the suburbs of Nashville, Tennessee. When I’m not proofreading or writing, you’ll find me playing with my mini me and a fiercely stubborn shih-poo named Bella. A Hopefull Word came about because I need it as much as anyone — routine can be draining, self-talk can be debilitating. I crave the hope His Word offers each day, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to share my hope with you.
